Project Summary:
In order to reach a younger demographic, Honda targeted rugby fans and their families with an exciting, hands-on activation at Twickenham Stadium in London.
Bringing together skills-based challenges and fun for all the family, the experience brought The Power of Dreams to the world of rugby with plenty of active participation and shareable moments, encouraging people to spend time with the brand.
For example, fans could play ‘Target Tyres’ and test their skill at passing as many rugby balls in 30 seconds through the Honda tyres or capture a unique selfie moment at the Grand Slam photo booth. And the Power Bar not only presented a strength challenge, but also advertised Honda’s first electric SUV vehicle launched at the end of 2023.
Jack created the first activation experience for Honda in 2021 and went on to repeat and upgrade the experience for a further two years, with ever-increasing participant numbers.
Role:
3D Design Lead
On this project, I was responsible for leading the 3D design development, working to shape the overall concept and ensure the narrative was seamlessly integrated into the spatial design throughout the multiple iterations through the years. Collaborating with a team of graphic designers, artworkers and junior designers to bring the activations to life.
My role sat at the intersection of creative direction, team coordination, and technical delivery, ensuring the stand was not only visually impactful but also buildable and aligned with Honda’s brand and the audience.
